I enjoy testing new proprietary products for various companies like Crop Production Services, The J. R. Simplot Company, Syngenta, and BASF. Businesses often reach out to me for assistance as they develop and debug new equipment. They find my honest feedback useful, and appreciate my willingness to test the efficacy of their latest technological advancements.
My “outside the box” early adoption practices include:
- First user of zone tillage in southeastern Pennsylvania
- First user of GPS guidance for planting and tillage operations in southeastern Pennsylvania
- Purchased some of the first all-battery triplexes from Jacobsen
- One of the first purchasers of the Smithco Spray Star 3180 with the Raven Envizio GPS Pro®
- One of the first purchasers of all-battery AC rollers from Smithco
- Switched my entire fleet of equipment (mowers, carts, etc.) to either diesel or electric for savings of $12,000 per year in fuel costs as well as significant noise reduction
